Cube by MartchZagorski Cube by MartchZagorski
Trying out something new. This thing's quite simple and very rough and rushed. I was very careless. Was eager to see what the end result of this technique looks like.
Take it as a primitive experiment if you will.

This technique sure has it's own charm. Would be fun to see different shapes done similarly.

Thanks!
Have you seen other drawings done this way? I would love to see some. Haven't.
Want to do more like these.

I haven't seen any of those either, apart from yours. And it looks like you are the right person to do more. Though, I might try as well if the right mood strikes.

You should! No pressure though. :)
What does one even call this?

Maybe "ripple art"? Maybe it's already a thing though... No idea.

I like how the lines change in thickness to add in the illusion.  :)

I'm glad that you like it!
Though this is not a good example of this technique. Very rough and rushed.

Maybe only in that I drew this and you haven't. :)
Never have I drawn in this manner before, nor have I looked at similar drawings (couldn't really find any at the time).
There's nothing to it. Anyone could draw this and probably do a better job. :)

but again!  *i feel like i'm bein too stubborn, sorry, haha*  to me it'd take lotsa patience, even u said it was rushed, n more examination of what's bein drawn! i don't know if i could! You're just bein humble if u ask me :D which's a good thing,  n i hope u'll have some other studies alike sometime in the future too! :)  n yes, it's unique!

Being humble isn't always good, in my humble (dammit!) opinion.
I will definitely maybe draw something similar in the future. :)
Thank you!
P.S.
This conversation could have easily happened about your splashy water glass drawings.
Now that's amazing!

"Malevich's square", now in 3D! :)
Most of the circles I drew with a compass, yes.
Thank you, iRBi!

ha ha !!! 3-D square of Malevich !!! Let's call it " that famous cube by Martch " :)
Is it only I see that this cube is seen through a spinning propeller ?

Quite simple? Yeah, for you maybe! Heheh, nice change of pace Martch. The various line weights look awesome. Looks great on white paper.

Thank you, Arnaldo!
I might do something like that again.
And maybe spend some more time on it.
This one was very rushed.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Looks hand drawn and not done by a machine which is really cool. Great job Martch.
